The piece … Read more Beautiful and unusual, large vintage Murano hand blown black and blue spatter pigments Italian art glass flower vase. The piece is documented to Seguso Arte Vetro glass workshop. The original label is still attached and reads "Seguso Arte Vetro Murano Italy" on the lower edge of the piece (see photos). It is made in the "Scavo" technique, with abstract, almost graffiti decoration all around the vase. It is made with thick glass and is pretty heavy. Would make a great display piece on any dinning room, console or coffee table. Fill it with flowers or display it as a sculptural piece. Late Mid-century era. Measures 9 1/2" tall x 9 1/4" across the body.
