American carved wood library book caddy or shelf stand. Used for carrying books in the library. Measures 23 1/8" long at the base x 19" tall x 11" wide. Stamped "Patent Applied For". Cut out handle and incised anthemion decoration at the corners. Rising on small feet. Good condition - loss to the feet on the bottom - does not show. An attractive piece used to organize and display oversized books. See less
