This impressive door has two square panels; an … Read more Mid-century Baroque style walnut entry door with inlaid ornamental bronze strap hinges. This impressive door has two square panels; an upper fielded panel, and a lower raised panel with cross and circle motif. The beautifully carved upper door features a small rectangular panel with vine motif, a magnificent relief carved mask figure with exuberant scrolled headdress and a decorative arched pediment and ornamented corbel brackets with acanthus and bead and reel design. The ornate brackets have a lovely aqua patina. The scrolled door handle has a backplate which reflects the design of the strap hinges. The simplified reverse features two square and one rectangular panel and has the same door handle featured on the front. See less
