Dali originally created the Tarot series to be used in the James Bond Movie "Live and Let Die". Although in the end, the film did not use Dali's work, he continued with the series. In 1978 the set of six was printed after the original gouaches Dali painted. The Ten of Staves (or the Ten of Wands) represents a large burden being carried by someone.
