Pietro Fabris (1740-1793 Italy/England), View of a part of the island of Ischia called Lacco
Watercolor on engraving, Plate XXXII for Campi Phlegraei c.1776, Sir William Hamilton (1730-1803 UK). British Ambassador to Naples and Vulcanologist whose master work was Campi Phlegraei (Fields of Fire) published 1776
Framed in double glass with image on one side and the reverse having explanation of image in English and Italian.
Wood frame measures 20" x 14 1/4", engraving measures 15.5" x 8.5"
