Hang this vintage Stangl Pottery Kiddieware plate from their Little Quackers series on a kitchen or bathroom wall for a whimsical decor touch.
Made in the 1950s, the vintage decorative hand-painted plate has an incised yellow duck design. The vintage Stangl pottery dish is hallmarked on the back and also has an incised mark and hand-painted mark.
The vintage pottery plate is in good condition showing wear consistent with its age. The design is incised on red clay pottery. The colors are vibrant.
Stangl, the iconic American art pottery, began production in 1814 in Flemington, New Jersey before moving to Trenton, New Jersey. Known worldwide for its beautiful and functional pieces, Stangl produced everything from ceramic drain pipes & storage crocks in the early 19th century to art pottery and modern dinnerware in the 20th century. The business closed its doors in 1978.
