This mid 20th century color lithograph from the French art journal "Verve" published by Teriade in 1939 depicts one of Georges Dominique Roualt's iconic images. It was printed by Mourlot Freres, Paris. This image was used for the cover for Verve,Issue No. 3, 1939. The reverse is blank. Please view our other images from Verve. The lithograph is housed in a black mat with a foam core back board. The dimensions of the print without the mat is 10"x14". Opinions differ about the print-run of Verve but the best estimate seems to be 2000. Please view our other listings from Verve.
Georges Dominique Rouault (1904-2002) was one of France's most famous modernists. His works are in many important museums and collections throughout the world.
