Image dimensions: 16 x 10.5 cm. M. N. Et mme*** is an original watercolored print realized in the first quarter of the 19th century by philibert-louis debucourt. The artwork is the plate n. 43 from a suite of 52 plates entitled "modes et manières du jour à paris à la fin du 18e siècle et au commencement du 19e siècle". On the higher part is printed the number of plate: "modes &c. N° 43." original title printed on the lower center: "m. N. Et mme *** / (large redingotte a grand colle de velours\. Schal d'hiver.)" philibert-louis debucourt (1755 – 1832) was a french painter and engraver. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
