Chinese porcelain red flambe yaolingzun. A mallet form vase with a bright carmine, flambe splash glaze over varied striations of dark umbers, yellows and creams. The long, graceful neck ends in a stepped flange to the body of the vase. The body ends in a stepped foot with an unglazed rim and white glazed inset base. A blue, six character, Kangxi reign mark is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved, Chinese traditional, hongmu circular stand is included. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century.
