Zanesville short, shoulder vase from the "Homespun or Stoneage" line of stoneware vessels. The vase has a white glaze with tan undertones. This style is noted for the stacked horizontal ridges or ribs.
this vase measures 6.75" at the widest (shoulder), 4" in diameter at the base and 4.5" high. The condition is very good. There is staining to the interior from use. This is a molded vase not thrown. The mold lines are discernable on the sides and base.
We are listing more of this interesting American mid-century pottery. It offers identifiable shapes and a heavy clay body.
