Fabulous "Elbalunga" chaise lounge designed by Franco Raggi for Cappellini. Designed after Raggi's first project for Cappellini, the "Elba" armchair, this chaise features a bent plywood backrest and very comfortable cushions in which the back cushion is cradled by the plywood. Its platform is a black lacquered piece that fits into the backrest and is joined by a steel band that turns into a foot on the front. Its color is best described as a Periwinkle Blue. The last photo shown is a newspaper clipping of the original "Elba" armchair in 1984.
