Ultra rare pair of armchairs designed by Rudolf Wolf in the 1950s for Elsrijk.
Rudolf Wolf was a industrial designer as well as an artist. His furniture designs for the Dutch steel company Elsrijk were important for early industrial furniture.
The chairs are newly upholstered with a beautiful cream/blue-ish grey wool fabric by Bute Scotland. Also the foam is renewed.
The set consists of a high- and a lowback lounge chair. They have a solid bar steel black frame.
The chairs look very tendril, but are suprisingly weighty and stable.
Beautiful and very hard to find set.
The chairs are in excellent condition, just little wear on the frames. This piece has an attribution mark,
I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
