Outside the matrix the artwork is signed on the right corner “ L.P. Moretti ”, on the lower left, in pencil, there is the circulation “ 19/23 ”. The state of preservation is excellent. Lucien-Philippe Moretti (1922-2000) was a French modern artist who described, with his paintings, watercolors, and engravings, a wide variety of emotions and characters. He was deeply interested in the representation of the complexity of the human frames of mind, expressing a unique sensitivity and ability in capturing expressions and feelings, especially in his numerous portraits. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
