Documented to designer … Read more Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown opalescent white, controlled bubbles and gold flecks Italian art glass flower vase. Documented to designer Ercole Barovier, for the Barovier e Toso company. It still retains a large rectangular "Made In Italy" item number label underneath. The vase has a scalloped rim, ribbed body and an applied gold leaf foot. Profusely covered in gold leaf throughout. Created in the "Bullicante" technique. Also, the white opal glass it is made with what is sometimes referred to "Fiery Opal" because once the sun hits it, it has an orange tint inside of it. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Mid-Century era. Measures 8 3/4" tall x 4 1/2" wide.
