Pop-art influences and a diversivied career as an industrial designer has resulted in this powerful metal floor light design by french designer roger tallon called the ‘micro’. It is a precursor to the 1980ies postmodern design movement and this light would be a great addition to eighties memphis items of sottsass, maurer and kuramata.
the light's shade can move up and down, and the light can turn 360 degrees. Total height incl. Shade 165 cm.
besides this design for german lighting company erco, tallon created a range of products for among others: lip, general electric, dupont, technés, peugeot and air france ( for which he designed the high speed train the tgv ).
