This embroidery representing a Duke family coat of arm is, from the early 1700 hundreds Italy, it is truly an … Read more This embroidery representing a Duke family coat of arm is, from the early 1700 hundreds Italy, it is truly an exceptional piece by the age and that speaks by itself and the size very large 18" H on 13 " W and this is exceptional, of course the origine as well is important Duke crest are not that commun, it s made out of velvet and metallic trim, the center is raised like a pillow ( see pictures ) that give a nice relief to the embroidery, in a wonderful baroque design, a real piece of art this can bring a splendid touch of elegance in a traditional interior of if you like in a modern interior to play with contrast, if you have to have only one piece this is the one, can be used on anything pillow, framed, lamp shade all is good. The bleu background is just a textile that we used in order to highlight the coloring of the embroidery so not a part of the piece. See less
