Created on the manner of the Cenedese company. As you can see, there is a thin layer of white glass in between the black and purple. The bottom of the seashell is polished 2 times at different angles. This lets it stand up as a flower vase, or be displayed on the side as a bowl. Unusual color combination. Would make a great display piece on any coffee or console table. Use it as a sculptural piece or fill it with flowers. Mid-century era. Measures: 10 3/4" across x 6 3/4" wide x 6 5/8" high (while standing up).
