Take a look at these charming late mid-century earthenware cuties! Perfectly suited for indoor use, or outdoors on a covered patio or screened in porch. They will definitively add a little bit of boho chic to any space. Handcrafted from tan earthenware, the heads and chest plumage are unglazed, while the sides and tails are hand painted in earthy tones with a highly glazed finish. Each dove has an attached triple chain gold looped hanger. They measure 8½” x 4½” x 3½” W/H/D; interior 5” x 2” W/H apiece; together the pair weighs 1 lb. 14 oz. Perfect size for small succulents or air plants; there are no drainage holes. In excellent condition with wear that is consistent for their age. I picked these up at a vintage store in Kansas City and was told they were made in Japan; maker is unknown. They’ve been with me for a long time and are looking for a great new home, yours perhaps?
