It is a heavy and solid ice bucket, but a perfect addition to a dry bar area, cocktail and/bar or social gathered entree area along with a man cave/den office environment, which caters and serves off hr cocktails, celebrations and what not. They don't make these like this anymore, whereupon the lower half of the ice bucket has a thick ribbed base body offset with the upper portion of a simple solid glass surround top and handle. basically it is relaying the design esthetic meant to be.
