Great White Heron is a modern artwork realized in 1870. Woodcut print, hand colored, published by London, Bell & Sons, 1870. Name of the bird printed in plate. This work is part of a print suite realized for F. O. Morris after drawings by Richard Alington, to create an inventory of British Birds. Good condition except for a tear on the left higher margin and light yellowing of paper due to time but with very bright and vivid colors. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
