We are offering for sale this charming polished and lacquered bronze and marble group of a young boy admiring a … Read more We are offering for sale this charming polished and lacquered bronze and marble group of a young boy admiring a small lizard atop a marble column, the tail of the lizard making up the Clock holder part of the bronze. The base of the bronze includes some small flowers and is signed L Kley for Louis Kley, French Artist (1833-1911). The bronze has been polished but there are some areas where there is some surface wear including by the right foot of the boy and on the forehead. The bronze is 6 1/4 Inches (15.9 cm) tall by 4 1/2 Inches (11.4 cm) wide and 3 1/8 Inches (8.1 cm) deep. See less
