The round decorative tray is made of metal in the 1960's by the designer Georges Briard. It features a gorgeous hand painted Modernist style pineapple and Abstract fruit design pattern details in a beautiful variegated multicolor palette, with a hand applied burnished gold leaf finish. The tray is hand signed by the designer Georges Briard on the tray front lower right.

This is an exquisite example of Mid Century Modernist decorative arts at its best. The tray has an attached metal hanging loop on the reverse back side for easy wall installation, and is equally well suited for tabletop display as a striking centerpiece object.

The extra large decorative metal tray measures 20" DIA X 1 1/2" H. It is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age, use, light signs of handling and light wear.
