Four open medallions of a finely drawn, red, five clawed dragon and fenghuang chasing the pearl of wisdom, amid red, stylized clouds and flames, are quartered on the body. The top of the neck is detailed by double red circles with a band of red, crossing Ru Yi lappets below. The neck flange is circled by a band large, leafy, red lappets ending with a band of red, alternating flowers and vines enclosed by double red circles. The foot is decorated with a band of vertical poles within a double red line of stylized ocean waves at the top and double red circles below. A blue, six-character, Yongzheng, reign mark within double blue circles is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese hongmu stand is included. Circa Republic of China era, no later than mid century.
