This is an English 19th century brass bowl with a warm patina from years of use, forged with a wide, flat rim around mostly straight sides and a flat base. It has an engraved wave design around its rim, known as "wrigglework" that lends a personal touch to the otherwise simple form. A fantastic display piece for any room around the home. Circa 1890.
