An elegant high quality cylindrical silver pepper mill having three stands depicting lion paws and acanthus leaves, decorated with engine … more An elegant high quality cylindrical silver pepper mill having three stands depicting lion paws and acanthus leaves, decorated with engine turned guilloche work and hand engraved ornamental cartouche for placing a monogram and, at the top, a loading opening with a sliding closure. The griding mechanism is intact and built with precision, capable of milling even a single peppercorn when placed inside by itself. Bearing the French 950/1000 (95 percent) purity silver hallmarks which is 25/1000 (2.5 percent) higher silver content than sterling. Circa 1880 - 1890, maker's mark 'Touron' to base. less

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
