Great piece of Italian pottery that looks to be 1960s vintage, maker not known.
Dramatic and decorative terracotta horse head sculpture. Beautifully crafted and assumed to be mold made with extensive hand finishing to the lifelike details. Finished in a classic white faience glaze. One of the nicest examples of this form that we've seen. An ideal accent in the Hollywood Regency/Moderne decor.
Measures 19"x 7.5"x 17.5". In excellent 'as made' condition with the typical production flaws and variations seen in these pieces. No chips or cracks. Age-related crazing. Unmarked, undated.
