Printed on paper and backed with linen canvas, this botanical illustration depicting the life-cycle of a cherry has a black wooden dowel top and bottom. Produced by Frommann & Morian in conjunction with Hagemann in Dusseldorf, Germany in 1954 and reprinted in 1978.
These old charts were produced as educational tools for schools and colleges by teacher Heinrich Jung, artist and biologist Gottlieb von Koch and college director, Doctor Friedrich Quentell.
This chart is in good condition with a slight tear to center bottom where the bottom dowel has been repaired. Color is clear and bright.
