An interesting and unusual decorative box, the Buddha is depicted with eyes open, a full mouth symbolizing eloquent speech, as well as the third eye of wisdom and unity.

The small metal trinket box is stamped with a floral design. The carved & polished round pink stone is set into the metal top which has a mirror on the reverse side. I'm not sure what type of stone it is -- it might be a very deep pink rose quartz.

Display the decorative box as decor or use it to hold a special trinket or piece of jewelry such as a ring.

The vintage metal box shows wear consistent with its age and use. The metal prongs holding the stone in place are slightly dented along one side as shown in the listing photographs. The stone is set securely.
