Large conference designer in solid oak of Louis XIII style. This atypical piece of furniture has an inclined section with an important infinity baguette, acting as a stop, in order to place and stabilize the books or documents necessary for the speaker.
The center of this inclined section has an imposing square opening revealing an important functional storage space, 100 cm wide.
Surrounding the top of this furniture, the ends are scalled in the neo -Gothic style.
This large desk has a large belt abundantly carved with floral decorations. Scrolls and rips of acanthus leaves, on a granite background, are formed in very pronounced relief.
The whole rests on four twisted feet with a level also scrubbed in the lower part based on molded crosspieces, carved only at the front and rear.
This important Louis XIII desk is a rare piece of furniture by its ornaments and its large dimensional.
