This Andy Warhol Foundation rare vintage offset lithograph print custom framed iconic Pop Art poster " A Set of Six Self Portraits " 1967, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The Pop Art poster print is published by The McGaw Group LLC., printed in The United States in 2004 with the licensed authorized rights of The Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts Inc. It features an iconic artwork image originally created by Warhol in 1967 titled " A Set of Six Self Portraits ", courtesy of San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, gift of Michael D. Abrams.
Andy Warhol ( 1928 - 1987 ) is one of the singularly most well known Contemporary artists of all time. His imagery is recognized worldwide. His infamous life, artworks, and creative endeavors are like no other artist. He is credited as the very first artist to use common everyday objects and view them in a completely different way while paying homage to their role in our society. Glorifying the common as the beautiful. His technique utilizing a silkscreen method combined with hand finishing in a signature palette of vibrant color hues make the works stand on its own and loved by millions.
The rare out of print framed iconic Pop Art poster print measures 34 1/4" W X 26 5/8" H X 1" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern matte satin finish brushed brass gold tone metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
IT is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. It is brand newly custom framed and has never been displayed. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price.
