Original hand-colored mammal lithograph from a natural history folio that depicted "animals in their way of life." Published in Leiden, a city in the Dutch province of southern Holland, in 1864. This print shows a Greenland Seal and Great Sea Lion.
This is an original antique print - not a reproduction. It is in excellent condition with minor toning to the paper consistent with its age. The print is carefully packaged in an archival plastic sleeve with backing board, and shipped in a cardboard flat mailer with cardboard insert. Includes a certificate with additional information.
Multiple print purchases are combined into a single shipment. We will refund the excess shipping charge paid.
