Original vintage expressionist wood block print titled "Shalom" numbered 13/40 signed titled and dated 1969 by Sylvia T Gavurin. Printed on Japan paper archival matted and framed in a contemporary gold frame.
Sylvia T Gavurin (1911 - 2002) was a Los Angeles based artist best known for her printmaking she showed in local exhibits her work is held in several private collections. In the 1940s Sylvia Gavurin was a court stenogrepher for the military. She was assigned to record the trials at Dachau Germany.
