Cubic shapes and clear lines go through this design. From foot to the frame to the square perforation of the sheet. The perforated frame for recording the umbrellas hovers as a transparent body at the level of the lower third of the shaft. A heavy cast iron cuboid serves as foot, in which a tub made of red lacquered sheet is inserted. The t-shaped execution of the handle at the top of the shaft is striking. Unfortunately, I am currently not aware of the manufacturer of this umbrella stand. The design is reminiscent of the minimalist design language and materiality from the Dutch manufacturer Pastoe.
