Along with Alfred Klitgaard and Knud Albert Furniture-maker, and Artist Hans Gustav Ehrenreich is regarded as one of the most prolific Scandinavian designers of the 1960s. Although HGE is mostly known for his series of Hoptimist this rare box leaves no stones unturned when it comes two quality and design simplicity. Its made from solid Rosewood and has a flush lid with integrated handle. It is suitable for storing cigarets, cigars or playing cards etc.
It was made in HGE own workshop during the early 1960s. Its imprinted Ehrenreich Denmark. It was commissioned by Hobson of Denmark. Also imprinted to its back. Measurements: 13.5x11.5x43.5cm. This piece has an attribution mark,
