The idea certainly goes back to the 1930s, when multifunctional furniture for small spaces was a big issue. Our furniture dates back to the 1950s and was offered by the above-mentioned manufacturer as "house office no. 4 oak". The worktop has minor flaws in the veneer, the furniture is completely original and appears to be fully functional. The sticker has been preserved from the back of the original manufacturer.
