A … Read more Vintage C.1970's-80's Deign Institute of America (D.I.A.), polished nickel-plated over steel & glass, cantilevered, drinks, accent, and/or occasional table. A much revered style, whereupon one can tuck under along sofa's edge, to the side, or by that favorite chair, but a foil, while solidly built with modernistic style and sophistication, as is this drinks table. Now D.I.A. had 3 iterations of this table, along the way, but one could custom order this with or without the extended base support based appendages, based on how it would be used, as well as esthetic purposes. After having been in the Interior Design Industry, from the manufactured Showroom represented end, and privy to Pace Collection, and the likes of Pace and D.I.A. products., it doesn't get better than these tables. As one can see the last image, is a close-up, of the finial ball supports underneath, which also lends itself to the added support as well as to the stability, BUT also to maintain the finish of the frame itself, and not have that scratch. The frame has been lacquer sealed to protect the polished nickel finish. From a North Palm Beach, Florida Estate. Glass has also been professionally re-placed. In great to excellent condition, considering the era of manufacture with use, extremely well-cared and maintained.

We ALSO have a pair of D.I.A. Polished Nickel and Glass Tables, with the Base Support Appendages. To be listed soon, as we had to replace the glass tops of these and have them professionally polished and lacquer sealed.
