The elegant and majestic French chandelier, has the classic balloon shape typical of the rich and charming style of Louis XVI, the threads of crystals of different shapes, manually joined together, are carefully distributed and hung on a structure that recalls the shape of a basket (hence the French name sac-à-perle); the central band is made of fire-gilt brass and is enriched with exceptional decorations of laurel branches; four curvilinear arms, also made of gilt brass, applied on the external part of the frame, have at their extremities the points of light, composed of crystal bobeches that support fake candles; from the part below hangs a wonderful group of bright solid crystals in the shape of an arrow; inside the upper part of the chandelier there is a string of crystals at the end of which hangs a shining sphere of pure crystal; this amazing and stunning complex is definitely a unique work of art! The chandelier was created in a totally manual way by a craftsman between 1870 and 1890 near Paris, the Master in his small workshop was able to propose a precious and unique product. When the chandelier is on, enchanting reflections are created that enhance its decorative effect; its ideal setting is in a living room or a dining room, but by virtue of its extreme classicism and its romantic line, make it is extremely versatile and easily placed in any environment. The electrical system is working, but the wiring is European and voltage and compatibility in other states should always be verified by an electrician before use. The object has been completely and meticulously restored by hand with ancient techniques by our team of craftsmen and is in excellent condition. Measures diameter cm.60, height cm.93.
