All engravings were based on paintings by Anthony Van Dyck, and are part of 'The Countesses' series, which are considered Lombarts best works. Prints and frames are original circa 1660-1663. Frames are composed of black lacquer, wood, plaster, and gold paint.
This set was acquired from a London estate.
