An antique Victorian Era cast iron inkwell in the form of a dog with a pen tray. The head lifts to reveal the ink well and the original milk glass ink pot. The retriever has an intense gaze along with alert ears. The look reminds me of my Black Lab at dinner time.
Great desk accessory for the dog lover or the collector of inkwells.
