This is Rare & Original Antique Early Period Writing Secretary Desk Open Shelf Cabinet Table that Dates Back to the Late 1700s / Early Part of the 1800s Made of Rosewood & Satinwood with Beautiful Tiger Maple & Mahogany & Ebony Inlays, It has Beautifully Inlaid Satinwood Doors at Each Side with Lock & Key. The Table Top has Banded Inlaid Edges with a Demilune Inlaid Half Moon Motif at the Center. All Drawers & Doors were doweled and Dovetailed Together with Beautiful Open Shelving in the Center All Made & Top which is Great for Display. It stands on nice, tapered block legs with matching Satinwood & Ebony Inlays as shown. This piece comes from a Private Collection which makes it Very Rare due to its Size, Age & Beauty. This comes in 2 pieces and was considered a large piece for its time period. It makes for a Great Accent piece that can be displayed anywhere throughout the home. This was Made of the HIGHEST Quality & Finest Craftsmanship No Longer Found Today. Its a Beautiful Piece made in Meticulous Detail & Highly Collectible. Please keep in mind this is All Original and has some minor wear and imperfections consistent with its Age. Overall its in Great Condition as shown in the Photos.
