These bronzes are becoming increasingly difficult to find!
This is a lovely Austrian bronze miniature cold-painted standing partridge/quail figurine.
The piece features cold painting in naturalistic colors applied over a bronze sculpture, showcasing excellent realistic details. The original paint is in good condition. It is a Vienna bronze pheasant statue inspired by the style of Franz Bergman (Geschützt). This wonderfully crafted figurine is an earlier example, likely dating back to the early 20th century.
The figurine is in very good to excellent estate condition, with no damage or repairs. There are a few small flecks of missing paint, which are visible in highly magnified photographs.
