Shino glazed ceramic vase with lots of visual interest, by a long time Seattle ceramic artist. He told us that it was selected by a Japanese curator to be part of an Ikebana exhibit. It is very textural, with colors of gray, green, brown and white. The pottery glaze is mostly chunky with smoother areas in reddish brown, with an organic feel reminiscent of barnacles growing on something.
7" wide, 7" deep, 18.25" high. Opening at the top is 2" diameter.
