Stunning set of 12 royal Copenhagen porcelain plates motifs from Hans Christian Andersen (Danish writer) fairy tales with illustrations by Pauline Ellison made in Denmark. Each plate has gold border depicting flowers, birds and butterflies.
They are in excellent vintage condition.
Set Includes: The Emperor's New Clothes, Thumbelina, The Ugly Duckling, The shepherdess and the Chimney Sweep, The Nightingale, The Little Mermaid, The Steadfast Tin Soldier, The Princess and the Pea, The Show Queen, The Tinder Box, The Red Shoes and The Little Match Girl.
