Vintage Handmade Stoneware King's Face Vase / Goblet, Circa 1970s. Wheel-thrown and hand sculpted stoneware form. Light brown clay body glazed in a greige glaze with hits of umber and black. Simplistic facial features rendered with large eyes, a prominent nose and handlebar mustache. His head is covered in curls under a crown. The interior of the head is hollow for use as a vase, goblet or candleholder. Hollow base, signed on the interior.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition
Specs: 8 5/8” height, 3 1/4” base diameter, 4 1/8” width at base of hair
