Furniture manufacturers who have stood up to the test of time did so by continuously transforming themselves. There are many examples of this throughout the years during which design was a sought after commodity. In particular, one company who would see countless iterations of is Thonet. Starting off as experts in decorative bent wood, the company would evolve to take on more adventurous feats such as its entrance into the Mid-Century Modern design movement.
In collaboration with the designer Russel Wright, the shown simple and quite early Mid-Century Settee for Thonet remains relevant to this day. Aspects of this piece’s uncomplicated form are regularly reproduced in today’s contemporary design world. Due to previous restorations, this piece has since lost its original tags. Nevertheless we’ve chosen to preserve this Russel Wright design by undergoing a to-the-frame restoration. The Object Refinery team selected our classic 100% cotton Italian Velvet in the color Navy which handsomely pairs with the completely refinished solid tiger maple arms - a wood known for its exotic striation grain. This settee’s petite size makes it the perfect accent in a multitude of interior settings. In a foyer, a reading nook, or even a dressing room; the options are limitless.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
