This hand-made piece was created by a master artisan using the raised Moriage technique. It's strikingly beautiful with its gilded eyes, gilded collar, gilded bells, light green colored bow, touches of midnight blue, crimson and its distinctive and charming raised left paw. A true symbol of good luck in Japanese and Chinese culture.

In excellent vintage condition with normal wear from age and use. No chips, cracks or repairs and all original. Small kiln vent hole at the base. A true gem of Japanese quality craftsmanship still prevalent during the mid-century.
