Exquisite late 18th century black and white Chinese Qing dynasty style embroidered temple altar cloth. Satin silk floss embroidered textile depicting flying birds of paradise amidst flowering peonies, chrysanthemums, flying dragons, moths, butterflies on the embroidery of the antique decorative wall hanging. The black border and backing are wool. (The antique cloth was recently restored).
