We are selling this attractive 18th Century botanical print. This copper plate engraving is hand colored and illustrates the Costus Amarus et Dulcis from "A Curious Herbal" by English naturalist Elizabeth Blackwell, the print probably dates to circa 1780.
Condition: Light fauxing and discoloration to the paper, but in pretty good condition.
