19th Century watercolor depicting a pensive couple sitting on a bench under a tree in park-like surroundings by Gean Smith (1858-1928). Gean Smith is a well known artist who was born in 1858 in New York who was known for equestrian paintings and illustration. He died in 1928 in Galveston, Texas. Watercolor on paper/card stock, presented in a gilt and green paint decorated frame with linen matting.
