There’s just something about blue and white porcelain ware that makes an elegant bold statement and above all, seems to work with any style. These petite cuties, given to me as a gift, have been used as condiment bowls but can be utilized as décor accents or small succulent planters. Colors are crisp white and cobalt with a leafy circular vine motif. Each measures 3”x 1½” D/H.; together the set weighs 10 oz. In excellent condition with minimal use wear. They hail from the mid-century, between late 1950 to sometime in the 1960s. The yellow and gold makers stickers are long gone but the set was made in Japan for the Otaoiri Mercantile Co. For a collector of blue and white ware, these petite cuties should be a must have or the perfect gift for someone who is.
